ADVANTACARE MAINTENANCE & MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM (AMMP)
This Program differs from anything else in the office as it is a Wellness Based Program. This is a program for maintenance based non-medically necessary care (i.e. care that is based on keeping you feeling well and not treatment for fixing a current medical problem), given with a significant discount. That means the AMMP* program is for you if you are the person who is essentially pain free, not seeking this treatment for a current condition under injury from Liability, Workers Comp, Auto Accident, or Insurance, but are seeking Massage Therapy (MT), Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy (CMT), or other wellness treatments or services on a discounted cash basis for the sole purpose of maintaining your current health and wellbeing. Remember, it is easier and less costly to maintain something (like your body) than it is to try and fix it when it breaks.
Many services are offered for use in the arena of wellness to include Massage Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy, Hot/Cold Therapies & Electrical Stimulation, Intersegmental Traction (Roller Table Spinal Mobility), or any combination of some or all of these therapies, all chosen by you in an Ala-Cart fashion in any combination you choose, and all at the AMMP Discounted Price.
Note: To qualify for AMMP Massage Therapy (MT) you must not have a condition that is contraindicated for MT to be performed.
Note: To receive Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy (CMT) you must not have a condition that is contraindicated for CMT to be performed. You must either be a patient who has successfully finished a plan of care and is now ready for maintenance or a new patient who has had an exam/radiographic study of the applicable areas to receive CMT and are AMMP qualified.
AMMP is for those who wish to maintain their function, mobility, active lifestyle and the general feeling of health & wellness.

SPINE RECOMMENDING MAINTENANCE ADJUSTMENTS FOR PREVENTION?
In what may become a "landmark" study in research related to the practice of chiropractic, SPINE Journal emphatically recommends that maintenance (at a frequency of 2x month) adjustments to the lumbar spine may prevent future episodes of lumbar spine pain.
Pain (VAS Score) and disability (Oswestry) were reduced continually with the group receiving maintenance treatment. In conclusion they found that "we suggest that maintained SM is beneficial to patients with chronic nonspecific LBP particularly those who gain improvement after initial intensive manipulation to maintain the improved post-treatment pain and disability levels."
When powerful research such as this is produced for prescription medications, pharmaceutical reps are banging down the door of every medical practitioner in country. Here is a successful and researched natural approach with no side effects except decreased pain, increased function, and increased quality of life!
