Lead Chiropractic Assistant
Our Lead Chiropractic Assistant is April Givan. April was born and raised in Elizabethtown. She has spent the last few years working in the health and wellness field. April has a great passion for fitness and encourages others to prioritize their personal fitness because of the tremendous benefit it provides every person no matter their gender, age or physical limitations. Nutrition and fitness have been a lifelong interest which led her to the field of Chiropractic.
Outside of the office, April enjoys spending time with her family. She has two sons, Landyn and Kauner. She enjoys going to their different sporting events and cheering them on. April recently got engaged to her boyfriend Wayne, a cattle farmer from Sonora, and now has a bonus son (Kaden), who she absolutely adores. April loves to laugh and one of her goals is to make sure that you leave our office with a smile on your face.
Tabitha is one of our Chiropractic Assistants here at ADVANTACARE Chiropractic. She is a native of Kentucky, however as her father was in the United States Army, she grew up moving all over the United States every 2-4 years. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Anthropology and a BA in African and African-American Studies (Arabic and Islamic Studies) in 2019, and a BA in Justice Administration from Hawaii Pacific University in 2012. She has a passion for helping people and learning new things. Although newer to the Chiropractic Health Care Field, she does enjoy learning and applying daily health and wellness principles and techniques with ADVANTACARE Patients and in her everyday life.
Tabitha not only has a passion for helping people but also loves serving her country. Outside of ADVANTACARE Chiropractic, she serves in the US Air Force Reserves as an All Source Intelligence Analyst. Previously, she served in the Air Force on active duty as an Arabic Linguist. Physical Fitness, Education, and Family are extremely important to her. The majority of her off time is spent with her daughter Evelyn. However, she enjoys running half marathons, working out, playing basketball, singing, and of course like any native Kentuckian, watching college basketball (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!).
